Privacy Policy

This site is operated by Farrell Dillon Comedy Magic to promote live performances, take event booking inquiries, and sell merchandise. This policy explains what personal information the site collects, why it is collected, who it is shared with, how long it is kept, and the choices you have.

We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not run advertising or analytics trackers on this site.

We only collect information you choose to give us. There are two places on the site where that happens:

• Booking inquiries: your name, email address, phone number (optional), company or organization, and the event details you enter — date, city, venue, event type, audience size, budget range, and any message you write.
• Merchandise orders: your name, email address, phone number, and the shipping address you provide, along with the items and sizes in your order.
• Administrator accounts: if you are staff signing in to the private admin area, your sign-in email and session are handled by our hosting provider's authentication service.

We do not collect payment card numbers on this site. Merchandise orders are recorded and then arranged directly with you; card data never passes through this website.

Our servers and hosting provider keep standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested) for security and troubleshooting. We do not use those logs to build profiles about visitors.

• To respond to your booking inquiry, quote an event, and coordinate the performance.
• To confirm, fulfill, and ship a merchandise order, and to contact you about that specific order.
• To keep records required for tax and accounting purposes.
• To protect the site against spam and abuse.

Your phone number is used only to reach you about the inquiry or order you submitted. We do not send automated or marketing text messages. Email is transactional by default — you will only receive marketing email if you specifically opt in on the booking form, and every marketing email includes a way to opt back out.

This site does not use advertising pixels or analytics trackers. A small number of services are involved in running it:

• Hosting and database: our hosting provider stores the site, the inquiry and order records, and handles administrator sign-in. Data is stored in the United States.
• Ticketmaster: we read publicly listed tour dates from Ticketmaster twice a day to keep show listings current. This is a one-way, read-only sync — no visitor information is ever sent to Ticketmaster from this site. Clicking a ticket link takes you to Ticketmaster, where their own privacy policy and cookies apply.
• YouTube (Google): video pages include a YouTube player. The player only loads after you click to play. Once loaded, YouTube may set its own cookies and receive your IP address under Google's privacy policy.
• Fonts: the site's typefaces are self-hosted and served from this site. No font files or stylesheets are requested from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com or fonts.gstatic.com), so no font request exposes your IP address to Google — before or after you make a cookie choice.

This site itself sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Your shopping cart is stored in your own browser's local storage so it survives a page refresh, and an administrator sign-in session is stored the same way. Both are strictly functional and never leave your device except to complete an action you started. Embedded YouTube players and any future analytics load only if you allow them in the cookie banner; the Cookie Policy page lists every category and lets you change your choice at any time.

Nothing is kept forever. An automated job runs every night and permanently deletes any record that has passed our 7-year maximum retention period — booking inquiries and the internal notes attached to them, merchandise orders and their line items, and privacy requests submitted through the form below. This deletion is enforced by the database itself, not by someone remembering to do it.

Within that outer limit, we aim to delete sooner:

• Booking inquiries: kept for up to 24 months after the last contact, then deleted. 7 years is the absolute maximum.
• Merchandise orders: kept for up to 7 years, because order records support tax and accounting obligations, then automatically deleted.
• Privacy requests: kept as proof that we handled your request, then automatically deleted after 7 years.
• Marketing opt-ins: kept until you opt out, plus a record of the opt-out itself, and never beyond the 7-year limit.

You do not have to wait for that clock to run out — you can ask us to delete your information at any time using the privacy request form, and we will honor it unless the law requires us to keep a specific record.

Depending on where you live — including California under the CCPA/CPRA and the EU/UK under the GDPR — you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy of it, to correct it, to have it deleted, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights.

The fastest way to exercise any of these rights is the privacy request form at /privacy-request. It walks you through four options:

• Get a copy of your data — we email you everything we hold that is linked to your name, email address, or phone number.
• Find out what we have — a summary of the categories of information we hold and anyone it has been shared with.
• Correct your information — fix a misspelled name, an outdated address, or the wrong phone number.
• Delete your data — we permanently remove your inquiry and order records, except anything we are legally required to keep.

You can make the same request by phone at 831-809-9693 instead of using the form; either way it is logged and tracked the same way. We will acknowledge your request and respond within 45 days, and we never charge a fee. If we need more time, we will tell you why before that deadline passes.

So that we do not hand your information to someone else, we may reply first and ask you to confirm a detail from the inquiry or order in question — for example the event date or the city. If we cannot verify that the request is really yours, we will tell you and explain why we could not act on it. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with your written permission.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed. If you have an open booking conversation or an order that has not shipped, deleting your records will end that arrangement, so we will confirm before we proceed.

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front.

Form submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection and validated on our servers before anything is stored. Inquiry and order records are not publicly readable — access is restricted to signed-in administrators. Spam protection and submission rate limits are in place. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect the information you give us.

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be described here so you can see what changed.
